Perimenopause Group Counselling

Perimenopause can be one of the most confusing and isolating transitions in a woman’s life. Many women experience anxiety, mood changes, sleep disruption, brain fog, emotional overwhelm, changes in confidence, and a growing sense that they don’t quite feel like themselves. Yet these experiences are often misunderstood or dismissed. You don’t have to navigate this season alone.

About the Group

This psychoeducational counselling group is designed to help women better understand the emotional, psychological, and lifestyle changes that can occur during perimenopause while connecting with others who are having similar experiences. Together, we’ll explore practical, evidence-informed strategies to support mental health, build resilience, and improve overall well-being in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Topics May Include

  • Understanding perimenopause and hormonal changes

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation

  • Sleep and fatigue

  • Brain fog and cognitive changes

  • Burnout and self-care

  • Relationships and communication

  • Identity, confidence, and life transitions

  • Practical coping strategies for everyday life

A Collaborative Approach

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a special interest in women’s health, I recognize that emotional well-being and physical health are closely connected. While this group is not medical care, we’ll discuss ways to support your mental health while encouraging informed conversations with your healthcare providers when appropriate.

Is This Group Right for You?

This group is ideal for women who are looking to better understand the emotional impact of perimenopause, develop practical coping strategies, and feel supported by others navigating similar experiences. No prior knowledge is needed—just a willingness to learn, reflect, and connect.

Insurance Coverage

Because the group is facilitated by a Registered Clinical Counsellor, many extended health benefit plans may provide coverage. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your individual benefits.
